Heating system: supplied from an autonomous rooftop boiler house. Two-pipe dead-end system with horizontal apartment-level distribution. Steel panel radiators with shut-off and control valves.
Water supply: cold and hot water pipelines made of galvanized steel pipes, with installation of water meters.
Sewerage: vertical risers made from RSP pipes (RUCK Sanitärprodukte GmbH, Germany).
Fire safety systems: installation of a comprehensive fire protection system (sprinkler fire-extinguishing system, fire detectors, alarms, and additional equipment).
Six silent high-speed elevators by the leading European manufacturer Kone will be installed in the building.
FACADE
The ventilated facade made of natural stone and porcelain stoneware panels is among the best in Europe by several parameters: durability, energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and aesthetics.
The design and installation of the facade systems for “Olimpiiskyi” are carried out by the company “Maxibud Engineering”.
Over more than 15 years of work, the company’s specialists have completed more than 550,000 sq. m of facade projects. Thanks to accumulated expertise, “Maxibud” is considered one of the strongest companies in its field.
GLAZING SYSTEMS
The translucent structures with the “Waterfall Effect” are made from insulated aluminum profiles by Alutech, combined with insulated glass units from the American manufacturer Guardian SunGuard® HP Royal Blue 38/31 — an optimal solution when blue-tinted glass with excellent energy-saving performance is required.
Ultra-thin layers of metals and additional coatings on the glass block most solar heat while allowing ample natural daylight to enter.
Rehau window systems are also used throughout the project.
ILLUMINATION
The facade lighting system combines elements of local lighting, concealed lighting, and contour lighting. Multimedia lighting will be implemented on both sides of the central part of the facade, which in turn emphasizes the effect of a “falling waterfall.””
